Over 35,000 students to sit for CSE exams in March

The Minister of General Education and Instruction says the secondary school leaving examinations will commence late next month, with over 35 thousand candidates.

This is according to the minister of Education Awut Deng Acuil when was making a remark on SSBC on Friday evening.

She said out of 35,459 candidates registered in 398 schools across the country, 22,920 are males and 12,539 are females.

“Male students making up 64.6% and about 35.4% of females have duly registered for the examination in three hundred and ninety-eight schools,” she said.

The 2022/2023 CSE will begin on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Speaking on the national television, Minister Awut said all the security arrangements to facilitate the exam are in place.
