NBGS organizes a conference on its poor education sector

The government of Northern Bahr el Ghazal is planning to organize a conference to address problems affecting education in the State.

The state education sector is faced with a lot difficulties, including, school poor performances and inadequate teachers as many quit teaching profession due to low pay.

In an interview with Eye Radio, a Member of Parliament representing the state in the Council of States, Honorable Donato Dimo, says the conference will be conducted in five counties in the State.

“Each County will go to the ground and come up with its problem and after that there will be a general conference at the state level, after that we will come up with outcome or clear resolutions about education,” he said.

On Friday, the caretaker Governor Kuel Ngor Aguer, met with Members of Parliament who represent Northern Bahr El-Ghazal State in the National Legislative Assembly and the Council of State.

The meeting discussed issues affecting the State.
