The Minister of Information and Communication Michael Makuei Lueth has led a high-level delegation to Qatar to discuss strengthening bilateral ties in the field of information and communication.

According to The Peninsula, the team of officials and experts in the fields of communications and postal services from South Sudan arrived in Doha on Wednesday.

They were received by the Qatari Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mannai.

“The visit of the high-level delegation from South Sudan aims to explore areas of cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries, as well as discuss the possibility of exchanging experiences in a way that benefits both sides and contributes to achieving cooperation between the two countries,” reports the Qatari news agency.

The South Sudanese delegation reportedly expressed its keenness to benefit from Qatari experiences and expertise in the communications and IT sector.
