President Salva Kiir fired the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Health and the First and Second Undersecretaries in the Ministry of Finance and Planning on Monday evening.

In a Republican Decree aired on state television SSBC, Kiir sacked Dr. Victoria Anib Majur of the Ministry of Health and replaced her with Dr. Adier Machar Acheik.

In a similar decree, Kiir also relieved Uchum Genes Karkon as First Undersecretary for Finance and Angelo Deng Rehan as Undersecretary of Planning at the Ministry of Finance.

The president also appointed Kuol Daniel Ayulo, as the new First Undersecretary, and Benjamin Ayala Kayongua as the second Undersecretary in the Finance Ministry.
