The IGAD Chief mediator on South Sudan peace dialogue has informed President Salva Kiir of the contentious issues that need to be resolved in the next round of talks.

Seyoum Mesfin met President Kiir yesterday in Juba and informed him of the resumption of talks on the 29^th of this month.

Ambassador Mesfin told the press that IGAD mediation team will review resolutions made by the two parties from of their consultation meetings in Pagak and Juba.

“We had the opportunity to touch base on very serious issues and we had a truly extensive discussion on the critical issues that need to be tackle during the upcoming IGAD summit on South Sudan.IGAD summit on South Sudan is scheduled to take place on the 29 of this month just a day before the African Union summit it’s begins in Addis Ababa.” He said.
