President Salva Kiir is in Eritrea to meet his Counterpart, Isaias Afwerki.
Kiir left Juba for Asmara on Saturday morning, according to the press secretary Ateny Wek Ateny.
This visit comes along the ongoing efforts between Ethiopia and Eritrea to normalize ties between the two countries.
Mr. Ateny, who spoke on the state-run TV-SSBC earlier today, said the two leaders will interact on the Khartoum peace process.
They will also discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
