The Office of the President says President Salva Kiir will address the nation on Thursday.

The president will address the public from J1 at 10 in the morning, according to the presidential press secretary Ateny Wek Ateny.

But Mr Ateny could not disclose the agenda of the nation address.

“South Sudan has been going some events that would require the President as the head of nation to update his citizens about the progress on many aspects of the events that have transpired or taken place in South Sudan,” Mr Ateny said in an exclusive interview with Eye Radio.

However, there has been public outcry over what economists describe as worsening economy, including the fuel crisis and the shortage of the US dollars.
