KCB staff have returned to work after agreeing to a deal about non-financial issues with the bank management.

Financial concerns such as a 50% pay rise, overtime, transport and lunch allowances are still outstanding.

The KCB Staff Association chairman, Arem Riak, told Eye Radio that the staff have agreed to continue negotiations with the bank over unresolved claims.

“The management and the leadership will come up with a market survey and immediately will be acted upon based on the market survey,” said Mr. Riak. “And this is how we have just ended the negotiations.”

KCB bank officials say the negotiation should be completed by Friday.
