Five people were shot dead on Juba-Rumbek road yesterday, authorities in Lakes State have said.
The acting Minister of Information, Jok Ayom, says they include three Somalis and a Ugandan.
“Those who were killed – three were drivers from Somalia one assistance driver from Uganda and that person who pointed gun at them was also killed,” Mr Ayom said.
He says they arrested and are investigating three suspects over the killing.
Mr. Ayom added that they have deployed police forces along the road to provide security.
