The Director of Juba Orphanage is appealing for more funds to run their daily activities.

Angelo Kenyi says the government of Central Equatoria gives them 5,000 SSP every month which is not enough to cater for the needs of the children.

“The amount is not enough, and we would like to request the government to increase this amount given the current market prices,” Mr Kenyi said.

He said the children’s home also lacks utensil

Juba orphanage was founded in 1962 with the aim of accommodating children who lost their parents.

It currently hosts 84 children.
