President Salva Kiir has appealed to his First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar to come back to Juba within 48 hours, starting Thursday, in order for both leaders to implement the peace agreement.

President Kiir wants Dr. Riek Machar to establish contacts with him, according to Presidential Press Secretary, Ateny Wek Ateny.

Dr Machar fled Juba after fighting erupted at State House, J1 on the 8th of July between the SPLA and SPLA-IO forces.
