The Caretaker Governor of Jonglei State John Kong Nyuon has issued a decree appointing new commissioners for Duk and Bor counties.

The Caretaker Governor appointed Isaac Mamer Ruk as the commissioner for Bor County and Jacob Akech Deng as the commission for Duk County.

The positions have been vacant since the former commissioners were dismissed last month.

The Minister of Information in the state, Jodi Jonglei, has confirmed the new appointments.

Jodi says a new minister of cabinet affairs has been appointed along with the two commissioners.
