At least six people have sustained injuries following a grenade attack in Twic county of Warrap state.
Deputy Governor Aketch Tong said that the incident occurred after a policeman allegedly detonated a hand-held grenade following an argument with his colleague in the market.
“A policeman exploded a hand grenade and wounded six people. The reason he was fighting with another police man this incident took place in Aweng payam in Twic County,” he said. “The suspect was arrested and the investigation is going on now”.
Deputy Governor Aketch said that all the wounded are receiving treatment at the local clinic in the county.
