Hotel workers are calling on the government to help protect their rights. Latio Joseph who is the secretary general of the Hotel Workers Association outlined their complaints. Mr. Latio urged the government to recognize the South Sudanese Hotel workers saying that national hotel workers will be more alert to security issues. President Kiir has recently made it clear that South Sudanese workers should be given preference for employment, especially in jobs with foreign firms.
