The Governor of Central Equatoria has urged the people of South Sudan to build a prosperous country for all.

Clement Wani Konga said In his New Year address that his government will work with other stakeholders to bring the warring parties together and iron out their differences.

“Brothers and sisters, let us unite and this year 2014 should be the year that we have to render services to our people,” Governor Wani Konga said.

“Our people need water, our people need health services, our people need good roads. If we continue fighting we shall not be able to render these services to our people,” he said.

Governor Wani said that security in Central Equatoria is now stable, after the crisis that started in Juba on 15^th December.
