The National football team has fallen four places in the monthly FIFA ranking, despite the good results at the CECAFA Cup.

South Sudan came to number 138, after it was ranked number 134 in the past category.

Despite the good results achieved by the national team in the CECAFA, it did not contribute to the improvement of international rank; the team came directly behind Sudan, that’s number 44 in the African ranking, leaving 10 teams behind.
