Eye Radio has today officially launched its coverage in Aweil, the capital of Northern Bahr el-Ghazal State, where it broadcasts on 88.6 FM.

The occasion was attended by the state government officials and local residents of the area.

It is part of extending Eye Radio broadcasts to all the ten states to provide objective news, information and entertainment to the people.

The radio is now broadcasting in five states. These include Eastern Equatoria, Central Equatoria, Western Bahr al-Ghazal, Northern Bahr al-Ghazal and Warrap.

It will also extend broadcasts to the rest of the states soon.

The expansion is a partnership between Eye Media and Zain Telecommunication Company.

Eye Media is a South Sudan non-governmental organization that is managing Eye Radio, with financial support from the USAID.
