Eye Radio has officially launched its coverage in Western Bahr al-Ghazal State, where it broadcasts on 88.6 FM.

This is part of extending the radio broadcasts to all the ten states to provide objective news, information and entertainment to the people.

Several residents and government officials attended the launch in Wau town.

The radio is already broadcasting in five states. These include Eastern Equatoria, Central Equatoria, Western Bahr al-Ghazal, Northern Bahr al-Ghazal and Warrap.

The radio will also extend broadcasts to the rest of the states soon.

The expansion is a partnership between Eye Media and Zain Telecommunication Company.

Eye Media is a South Sudan non-governmental organization that is managing Eye Radio, with financial support from the USAID.
