Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed arrived in the capital Juba on Monday morning for bilateral talks with President Salva Kiir.
Ahmed was received by President Kiir and several top officials at Juba International Airport.
Lily Adhieu Martin, the Press Secretary in the Office of the President said the one-day visit will focus on bilateral talks and other issues of mutual interest.
Lily Adhieu Martin also said the outcome of the meeting will later be aired on the national television and published on social media.
“This is a bilateral visit that was already organized before, so we will publish the outcome of the meeting after one on one finishes, and we will have the communique for you guys,” Adhieu told Eye Radio.
The visit comes days after President Kiir and March discussed the status of the implementation of the revitalized agreement and the recent decree and republican order swapping ministers.
