Authorities in Western Bhar el Ghazal have arrested some people they are accusing of planning to set fire to one of the markets in Wau.

The Information Minister said there are wrong elements who are trying to create insecurity in the state.

Mister Alfred Derik Uya said they have begun investigating the incident:

“It was an attempt, some people wanted to set fire in the one of the markets. But the security was alert and they were arrested .now investigation are going on. There are people who want to sabotages, despite this the state is very calm and good.”

Mr. Uya said the state government is working to end the proliferation of counterfeit money in the state.
