CES swears in new cabinet ministers

The newly appointed Central Equatoria State cabinet Ministers have been sworn in today.

The deputy Governor was also sworn before the State Governor, Clement Wani Konga.

Governor Konga urged the ministers to work for the unity of the people of the state and South Sudan.

“Some of you who just come in to add on the old cabinet, this is going to be harsh time for you, first in regards to the security of the nation. This requires that there must be unity amongst the people of the Republic of South Sudan so as to enable the Government seek a peaceful end to the current war that occurred on the 15 of December 2013 without cause.” He said.

The new minister for Cabinet Affairs, Hastin Yokwe Anisio says that they will work together to deliver services to the people of Central Equatoria State.

“…we shall try to work collectively with strong coordination among ourselves with corporation and support to one another so that we don’t betray the promise that we made to the people, and the mandate that was given us by the people.” Yokwe said.

The Deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State Manase Lomole Waya affirmed that he will remain committed to serve the people of Central Equatoria as well as the people of South Sudan.
