CES gov’t launches construction fire-brigade office

Central Equatoria State government has launched the construction of a fire brigade office in Kajo-Keji County.

The state government has already opened similar offices in Terekeka and Juba counties.

The Press Secretary in the office of Kajo-Keji County Commissioner, Amule Charles, says the project will be extended to all the remaining counties of Central Equatoria State.

“An amount of 339,671, South Sudanese Pounds is being used for the construction of a fire brigade office in Kajo-keji County. ” Amule said.

Speaking to Eye Radio from Kajo-Keji, Mr. Amule says the office would enable the fire brigade department in the county to carry out their duties effectively.

He says there are frequent cases of fire outbreak in Kajo-Keji and the establishment of this office will help reduce the rate of fire outbreaks in the town.

“They having a very great challenge in rescuing houses that are burning in case of any fire outbreak. ” He said.
