Police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy whose body was found lying on the road in Juba’s Lologo suburb this morning.

It is not clear how the unidentified boy lost his life.

An eyewitness, who last saw the deceased last evening during Lotuko community traditional dances in the area, told Eye Radio that the police are interrogating families whose body was found adjacent to their houses.

“There was a traditional dance organized by Lotuko community,” the unnamed eyewitness explained, “and a young boy of about 15 years came unaccompanied.

“This morning, his body was found lying and nobody could explain the details of how he came to lose his life.

“But now as I stand by the body, there is an investigation going on.

“Police are taking the neighbors where the incident happened, especially those who are near.”

Attempts to reach the police for comment were unsuccessful.
