Police say unknown gunmen attacked a car along the Juba- Yei road and tortured the passengers this morning.

The police commissioner in Central Equatoria State, Hennery Danima, told Eye Radio that the attackers also looted valuables.

Mr. Danima said security forces have been sent to the scene of the attack to assess the situation.

He said there are no more details about the incident.

Last week, unkown gunmen killed one person on the same road.
