The Registrar of land in Central Equatoria is urging the State Anti-Corruption to investigate cases of land grabbing.

Samuel Mido says there are more than one thousand unresolved cases of land disputes in the state.

He said some people give out land without the title deeds and land lease agreement.

Mido told Eye Radio Dawn show this morning that the Anti-corruption should address the issue.

“Anti-corruption should look into these issues, there are people who have title deeds without the land lease and this is a mistake, it is forgery. There are people who fraud the land lease and title deeds. This is an official government document it is like nationality and passport.” He said.

Mido said the registrar of land should manage the issues of land according to the land act.
