JUBA, South Sudan — Telecommunications powerhouse MTN South Sudan dominated the Chamber Quality Awards 2025, securing multiple top honors, including the coveted Best Company of the Year.

The prestigious awards, announced by the South Sudan National Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (SSNCCIA), also celebrated key leaders, entrepreneurs, and institutions across the nation’s economic sectors.

The ceremony, which was held on Wednesday, December 10, celebrated the best performers across key sectors. It saw telecommunications giant MTN South Sudan emerge as a major winner, securing the coveted title of Best Company of the Year and Best Mobile Internet Service Provider.

Corporate and Leadership Triumps

Individual leadership awards were a major highlight of the evening, recognizing innovators and top executives driving market growth:

• CEO of the Year: Awarded to Ms. Mapula Bodibe of MTN South Sudan Limited.
• Business Person of the Year: Presented to Bibi Ali Aker, Managing Director and founder of Bibi Empire.
