The SPLM in Opposition has released seven humanitarian workers it had held for about 45 days.

They were detained by the opposition forces when they wrongly landed in the area in Longechuk, Unity State, in March.

The staff of the Health Support Organization or THESO were flown to Juba today.

In a statement, the SPLM in Opposition said the move was a ‘commitment to the Humanitarian Ground Rules and a commitment to humanity as a person’.
