The Undersecretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Michael Lopuke said the exams will be conducted in eight states and the Abyei Administrative Area.

He says students from Upper Nile, Warrap and Unity States will not sit for the examination because most of them will be sitting for Sudan Syllabus examinations.

“The examination will commence on the 16th of January 2015 that will be marked with the briefing of the candidate on the rules and regulation on the conduct of the South Sudan certificate of secondary education examination. The actual exams will start on Monday the 20th of January 2015 and will end on Thursday the 5th of February 2015.” He explained.

Lopuke said education cannot wait in South Sudan because it transforms the minds of the people to bring peace in the country.
