The newly appointed governors have been sworn in.
The leaders took oath of office in a ceremony presided over by Chief Justice Chan Reec and President Salva Kiir this morning.
On Monday, President Kiir issued a decree, declaring the 10 states and their executive arms of governments null and void.
However, the appointment of the governors has been rejected by the SPLM in Opposition, saying it violates the August peace deal.
