2022 World Cup: Nigeria, Egypt fail to qualify for Qatar

The 2022 World Cup will be without the African heavyweights Egypt and Nigeria.

Both the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Pharaohs of Egypt were knocked out in the Second leg play-offs to determine Africa’s five qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Egypt on Tuesday failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after losing to Senegal.

Egypt’s defeat is coming few minutes after Ghana defeated Nigeria on away goals rule to qualify for the World Cup.

Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana, and Senegal will represent the African continent in the 2022 World Cup slotted for November/December
