The UN Humanitarian Coordinator in South Sudan is calling on the warring parties to give access to aid agencies to reach people with assistance as the rainy season begins.
Toby Lanzer says the freedom of movement is crucial to prevent a further deterioration in the food security situation caused by the ongoing conflict.
In a statement today, he says people should also be able to move freely to access their lands and plant crops.
Lanzer also says people should also be allowed to tend their livestock and trade without fear of violence.
