Author : | Published: Tuesday, May 7, 2013

Three Ugandan Men were seriously wounded yesterday evening following an attacked by unknown armed men on Nimule-Juba Highway. The men were travelling in a private car that belonged to an official of the National Security. Police spokesperson Colonel Monday Enoka told Eye Radio what happened. Last week, the Ministry of Interior announced that highway patrol police and the army have been deployed to provide security for travelers on the Juba – Nimule and Torit roads.

Colonel Monday said he too wonders why there is still insecurity on that road after the deployment of security personnel. On Sunday armed men raided cattle in Gumbo area and reportedly killed 3 people, before attacking other travelers on the Juba – Nimule.
