Amadi State Minister of Information says more than 10,000 IDPs in Lui County are in dire need of humanitarian assistance.

Victor Mabruk says these people have not received any assistance since they fled their homes last year.

Meanwhile, Mr Mabruk says some 2,000 IDPS in Kediba have started receiving food items given to them by International Committee of the Red Cross.

He says the ICRC is also providing the same support to vulnerable people in Bangolo. The items include maize, sorghum, beans and oil.
