Students concerned about fee increase

The Student’s Union at the University of Juba says it will continue to negotiate with the university administration not to effect the new rates of tuition fees.

Last week, the University of Juba issued a circular indicating an increase of tuition fees three times the usual amount paid by both students under general and private admission.

But the students have rejected the move and have since called for the administration to stick to the official rates approved by the National Council of Higher Education in 2015.
