Why state TV is off-air

Author : | Published: Tuesday, June 7, 2016

The South Sudan Television, which is now the South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation TV, has been off-air since Monday due to what officials describe as a technical fault.

In a statement this afternoon, the Managing Director of the corporation, James Magok Chilim, said engineers were working on the issue and would get the TV back on air soon.

Mr Magok also disputed media reports that the TV went off-air due to lack of the US dollars.
