Presidential press secretary has denied media reports that the president felt sick during a meeting with Dr Riek Machar yesterday.

President Salva Kiir and Dr Riek Machar met today at the IGAD summit in Addis Ababa.

Our correspondent in Addis Ababa says the president greeted the members of the SPLM in Opposition and had a brief chat with Dr Riek before taking his seat.

The two leaders are expected to discuss and agree on the structure of government, security arrangements and power sharing during the transitional period.

Ateny Wek Ateny says the reports are not true.

“He has never sought any medical treatment. Even inside the presidential team, there is a medical team that is travelling with the president. The president did not even complain about headache. He did not complain about anything.” He said.
