Security forces say three armed gang members have been arrested. It happened in Gudelle suburbs of Juba on Monday.

The Head of Security sector in the area,Brigadier Chol Alew, says the men were dressed suspiciously.

“Night criminals attacked a house rented by a Ugandan,” he explained, “our Patrolling Forces arrested three criminals led by one who called himself Lieutenant.

After the crisis, the government formed a joint operations unit to reduce or limit crime in Juba Town.

It impounded a number of guns and ammunitions during a search recently.
