The National Legislative Assembly

The Minister of health, Riek Gai Kok says his Ministry is planning to launch a healthcare unit in the premises of Parliament for the MPs.

He said this would assist members of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly to deliver better services.

Dr Riek Gai made the remarks after meeting the speaker of parliament, Anthony Lino Makana yesterday in Juba.

“It’s a great idea, but we delayed its implementation. So we form a committee to look into the matter,” Dr Gai said.

“The clinic will also deliver services to the nearby ministries.”

The date of the launch of the parliamentary healthcare unit is yet to be established.
