Kiir-Zuma meeting slated for today

President Salva Kiir is due today to meet with his counterpart, the South African President, Jacob Zuma.

In a statement on the South African presidency official website, the two Heads of State are expected to review bilateral cooperation between their two countries.

It also says, they will discuss the “”latest regional political and security developments on the continent”.

President Kiir left Juba for South Africa on Tuesday but since then has not met with president Zuma who has been out to attend to the burial of late Fidel Castro, the former Cuban president who died last week.
