President Salva Kiir has arrived in Addis Ababa to discuss bilateral relations with the Ethiopian government, South Sudan Ambassador to Ethiopia James Pitia Morgan has confirmed.

The President left Juba this afternoon.

According to officials, the two countries will sign several cooperation agreements, including security.

President Kiir is accompanied by senior government officials.

He will also hold talks with the Ethiopian Prime Minister tomorrow at the National Palace.
