Journalists’ situation

On the occasion to mark the international Day to end impunity for crimes against Journalists, the chairman for the Association of Media Development in South Sudan, Alfred Taban, says more than 10 journalists have been killed over the last 2 years, describing the situation as worrying.

Alfred Taban says there are many cases of journalists being killed, tortured and abducted, but no suspects have been taken to court by the authorities, for committing crimes against Journalists.
