The commission, which is chaired by former Botswanan president Festus Mogae, also outlined timetable for a series of meetings it will hold this month.

It says on the 11th of January, it will hold a meeting of the joint military ceasefire commission.

On 12th and 15th of this month, there will be a meeting of Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission and the first meeting of strategic defense and security review.

The JMEC statement also says the national constitutional amendment committee will continue their work until the committee’s initial tasks are complete.
