Draws for SS premier league made

The draws for the South Sudan Premier League were made today, and ten teams from across the country will participate in two zones.

Zone A is centered in Juba and is made up of Malakia (Juba), Yei Central (Yei), Volcano (Torit), Villa United (Yambio) and White Bull (Bor).

Zone B meanwhile is centered in Wau and the teams involved are Sogur Al Aswad (Wau), Salaam (Raja), Salaam (Abyei), Salaam (Aweil) and Tiger (Kwajok).

The competition opens with Volcano fc facing Villa United in zone A, while zone B will see the Champions of Wau; Sogur Al Aswad take on Salaam-Raja on the Saturday of November 8th.

Each team will play eight games, and the top two from each zone will progress to a final round to be staged in Wau.

The team that accumulates the most points in the final round will be crowned national champions and will take part in the preliminaries of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

The competition was initiated last year and the reigning Champions are Atlabara FC.
