In Aweil, fuel traders say there is a reduction in fuel prices due to the end of the rainy season.

Some fuel dealers say the price of 20 liters of diesel has reduced from 2,500 to 1200 Pounds. For petrol, the price has reduced from 3,500 to 1,500 Pounds.

The traders say they received enough fuels supply from Sudan this month because of a better condition of roads as the dry season begins in the area.

Recently, bad roads reportedly caused the rise in prices over the past two months across Aweil.

Local traders in the areas have urged the state authority to repair the roads connecting Aweil to neighboring Sudan to make it easy to transport goods.
