10 states receive 29, 000Ssps each for New Year festivity

The office of the president has donated money to the ten states for the celebrations of the New Year 2015. Each state receives 29,000 South Sudanese Pounds today.

Suba Samuel is Central Equatoria State Minister of Information.

He says the president has delegated the National Minister of Health, Dr. Riek Gai Kok and the deputy Minister of Education, Bol Makueng to deliver his message for the year 2015 to the public.

The two ministers will also present the donation from the President to churches, prisons, and orphanages.

Suba says the government of his state has given the money received from the office of the President to two churches and Juba Teaching Hospital.

“The president donated some money around 29, 000 and this money has been distributed to this institutions, one of them is of course prisons, Orphanage center s and then churches; both Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Catholic Church.” He said.

Suba said the President has also sent a message of peace and reconciliation to the ten states.

The President’s message will be delivered through the churches during the New Year prayers tomorrow.
